	What Because of its massive 70.1% ABV (140.2 Proof), this Artistry Glenrothes 12 Year Old is a total powerhouse, described as having an explosion of flavor compared to the standard, much lighter 12-year-old release. It starts with rich, deep notes of dates and mature oak. The palate pits dark chocolate against intense espresso. Beneath the heat, you'll find brighter notes of fresh oranges, candied fruits, and a return of those chewy dates. The finish is very long and complex, ending with herbs, more dark chocolate, and a subtle, distinctive hint of ash.
	Why Most standard whiskies are 40%, and even strong cask-strength bottles usually sit around 55–60%. At 70.1%, this is one of the highest-proof single malts ever released to the public. And yet, despite the massive heat, the flavor is still balanced and refined.
