The scent is often layered with a distinct notes of motor oil, wet gravel, and flinty minerality, and you may notice buttery malt, sea salt brine and ginger loaf. You’ll likely find a mix of tropical fruits (guava, melon, and pineapple) and orchard fruits (pears and green apples) alongside sweet salted caramel and butterscotch. The finish is medium-to-long and tends to dry out, revealing soft peat smoke, leather, and baking spices like cinnamon and nutmeg.
