TAO CHINESE KNIFE, 11.5", 6.9" BLADE

Seki Ryu Chinese Cooking Knife has a 175mm (6.9") blade made out of stainless steel. Brown laminated wood handle is comfortable to hold. In China, these type of knives are called "TAO" which means "sword." It is different from conventional kitchen knives in that the blade is thicker, wider and capable of cutting chunks of meat and chicken to chopping and cutting vegetables. Wide rectangular structure of the blade allows one to crush garlics and transfer chopped ingredients onto another dish.
