	What Espanita Double Barrel Reposado is designed to taste like a tequila for bourbon lovers. Because of the secondary aging in first-fill bourbon casks, it’s richer and more dessert-like than a standard Reposado. You’ll immediately notice a heavy honey and vanilla scent. It smells like roasted agave mixed with butterscotch and a hint of toasted oak. There’s a faint floral note in the background, typical of Highland agaves. It has a very smooth, oily texture. The primary flavors are caramel, crème brûlée, and toasted marshmallows. As it sits on your tongue, you’ll get the bourbon influence: baking spices like cinnamon and ginger, and a touch of dried fruit (like apricot). It ends on a sweet, warming note. You’ll taste roasted agave sweetness and a lingering hint of toffee and cedar wood.
