	What Faccia Brutto Amaro Alpino is a "chef-driven" spirit designed to taste like an Italian mountainside. Because it is aged in Bourbon barrels, it has a unique richness that balances its intense, forest-forward botanicals. he dominant flavors are pine, eucalyptus, and spruce. It has a cooling, minty sensation that mimics the "alpino" style of northern Italy. It features a complex bitter backbone from rhubarb root and cinchona bark, but it is smoothed out by notes of toasted vanilla and caramel from the oak aging. The finish is long and slightly savory. A notable "secret" ingredient is a pinch of salt added before bottling, which heightens the botanical flavors and prevents the sweetness from being cloying.
