	What Faretti Biscotti Famosi is famously described as "liquid cookies" because it perfectly captures the profile of a traditional Italian almond cantuccio. The scent offers a strong hit of sweet marzipan, toasted nuts, and a hint of dark cocoa and citrus. It is rich and satiny on the tongue, and the dominant flavor is sweet almond, followed by layers of caramel, vanilla, and a subtle hint of fennel (anise) that keeps it from being cloying. The finish is smooth and nutty, with a lingering warmth that tastes like a twice-baked cookie dipped in espresso.
	Why Faretti is more complex than a standard Amaretto. While Amaretto is mostly almond-forward, Faretti adds baking spices, citrus, and a "toasted" quality that mimics the dough of a biscotti.
