On the nose, it greets you with an intense bouquet of deeply roasted coffee beans, bittersweet cacao, and a hint of warm caramel. Goofy Bandit uses alcohol distilled from liquid whey—a leftover fluid from making Greek yogurt that normally gets thrown away and harms the environment. Fermenting dairy sugar (lactose) is incredibly difficult, but the result is a base spirit with a naturally plush, velvety mouthfeel that pairs perfectly with coffee.
