Who Hendrick’s Gin is produced by William Grant & Sons, a family-owned independent distiller based in Scotland. The gin is crafted at the Hendrick’s Gin Palace in Girvan, a coastal town in Ayrshire. |

What Hendrick's Gin is most famous for its signature infusion of cucumber and Bulgarian rose, which gives it a "round," refreshing, and highly floral character that sets it away from traditional, heavy-juniper London Dry gins. It opens with a bright, floral bouquet of musky rose and chamomile, balanced by zesty citrus (lemon and orange peel) and a distinct "green" note from the cucumber. On the tongue, it is remarkably silky and smooth. You'll taste a gentle backbone of piney juniper and earthy angelica root, layered with sweet elderflower and a subtle, cooling cucumber finish. The exit is long and clean, leaving a lingering floral sweetness with a mild, peppery spice from cubeb berries and caraway. |

Why What makes Hendrick’s unique is that it is a marriage of two different spirits produced in two very different types of stills. The Bennet Still: An antique copper pot still from 1860 that produces a heavy, oily, and robust spirit. The Carter-Head Still: A rare still from 1948 that uses a "flavor basket" to steam-bathe the botanicals, producing a much lighter, floral, and delicate spirit. |
