	What Johnny Drum Private Stock has a bold, sweet, and highly spicy flavor profile that leans heavily on its high-rye mash bill content. The nose is quite lively and sweet, kicking off with caramel, vanilla custard, and distinct fruit notes like sour green apples, dark cherries, and orange peel. Because of the high rye content, it also carries a fresh, botanical undertone of mint and cedar. On the palate, it has a rich, oily mouthfeel. It strikes a balance between sweet and savory, starting with brown sugar, honey, and apple dumplings, which quickly shift into heavy baking spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and sharp black pepper. Prominent seasoned oak and a touch of leather anchor the sweetness. It wraps up with a long, warming, and drying finish. It leaves an aftertaste akin to spiced apple pie mixed with dry oak, tobacco leaf, and charcoal char.
