	What Joseph Cartron Crème de Mûre is famous for its authentic flavor, which is much more intense than mass-produced blackberry liqueurs. t tastes like concentrated blackberry jam or fresh berries picked straight from the vine. Because it uses wild blackberries (which are smaller and more flavorful than store-bought ones), it has a complex balance of deep sweetness and sharp acidity. You'll notice a rich, woody, and slightly floral aroma. It smells like dark, ripe fruit with a hint of the bramble patch (the earthy, green scent of the vines). It leaves a long, velvety coating on the tongue with a clean fruit finish that isn't cloying or medicinal.
	Why To ensure the flavor is incredibly concentrated, they fill their maceration vats two-thirds full of fruit before adding the alcohol. This is a much higher fruit-to-spirit ratio than you'll find in standard commercial brands.
