The estate is a historic 16th-century château surrounded by its own apple orchards, where they control the entire production process from harvest to bottling.
	Where The production takes place at the Château du Breuil estate, located specifically in the village of Le Breuil-en-Auge. This area is part of the Pays d'Auge, which is the most prestigious Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC) for Calvados.
	What La Pommiere Selection Calvados is bright, crisp, and intensely apple-forward. As a "Selection" bottling (the youngest tier of Calvados), it highlights the fresh, vibrant character of Normandy apples rather than the heavy oak and spice found in older XO expressions. The texture is light and clean. It tastes of tart Granny Smith apples, honey, and a slight herbal note. Because it is double-distilled in the Pays d'Auge style, it has a "creamy" underlying structure despite its youth.
