Why The vermouth is named after Jean-Baptiste de La Quintinye, the 17th-century master botanist to King Louis XIV. He was the genius who built the Potager du Roi (the King’s Kitchen Garden) at the Palace of Versailles. The vermouth uses a selection of the exact same aromatic herbs, plants, and roots that La Quintinye grew for the French royal court over 300 years ago. |
