Mezcal Derrumbes Guerrero offers a beautifully complex and buttery palate that bridges savory umami with bright tropical sweetness, courtesy of its tree-trunk distillation. It opens with aromas of wet clay, green herbs, and gentle smoke, which give way to rich flavors of ripe papaya, roasted vegetables, and milk chocolate. The experience concludes with a clean, incredibly smooth finish highlighted by honeyed fruit and light white pepper, leaving behind only a delicate hint of campfire ash.

Unlike almost any other spirit on earth, it is crafted using an ancient, ancestral distillation method where the condenser is built from a hollowed-out tree trunk (specifically from a higuera blanca, or white fig tree) resting over a copper pot.
