	What Nonino Quintessentia Amaro is an internationally acclaimed Italian amaro, notable for its refined balance of bittersweet flavors and the innovative use of aged grappa as its spirit base. It is less syrupy and more delicate than many other amari, making it exceptionally versatile. The aroma is inviting and complex, with primary notes of zesty orange peel, dried fruit, and a whisper of dark spices, complemented by warm caramel notes. The taste is a harmonious bittersweet blend where initial sweetness quickly gives way to complex, layered bitterness. You can expect flavors of caramel, vanilla, allspice, and a distinct orange zest, balanced by roots like gentian and quinine bark. The finish is moderately long, clean, and elegantly bitter, leaving a refreshing citrus touch that helps cleanse the palate, making it a perfect digestif.
	Why Unlike most amari which use a neutral spirit base, Nonino Quintessentia is made with a portion of the Nonino family's own aged ÙE (grape distillate). This base is aged for at least 12 months in small oak barriques, which imparts a unique warmth, depth, and fruity complexity.
