	Who Ojo de Tigre Mezcal is a collaborative brand co-founded by Mexican actor and producer Luis Gerardo Méndez and the Mexican spirits company Casa Lumbre.
	Where The mezcal is primarily produced at Casa Ausencio León, located in the state of Oaxaca. This location handles the traditional artisanal steps for the Espadín agave. The Tobalá agave is sourced from Puebla, which is where the final distillates are blended and then hand-bottled and packaged.
	What Ojo de Tigre Mezcal is designed to be a balanced and approachable spirit with a mild smokiness. Its unique profile comes from blending Espadín and Tobalá agaves, which combines savory, sweet, and herbal elements. On the nose expect fresh herbal notes, citrus, light smoke, and earth. You may also find a hint of mineral scents like charcoal or flint. The palate features notes of green apple and citrus up front, followed by cooked agave sweetness, caramel, and subtle smoked cocoa. The finish is clean and balanced with a lingering, gentle smoke and a touch of peppery spice.
	Why It’s one of the few brands that blends agaves from two different states—Oaxaca (Espadín) and Puebla (Tobalá). This combines the classic savory profile of Oaxaca with the floral, sweet characteristics of Puebla.
