	What The Paolucci Amaro Ciociaro Extra Bitter is a rich, balanced Italian amaro known for its pronounced orange zest and gentian root bitterness, layered with notes of cola, licorice, and warm spices. It is considered less sweet and less viscous than the original Amaro Ciociaro, reflecting a modern preference for a drier, more bitter sip. Highly aromatic and earthy, with strong scents of citrus peel, dried orange, and medicinal herbs like anise and clove. The dominant taste is a bold blend of bitter and sweet. Notes of orange marmalade, cola, and dark caramel are present, which are balanced by an intense, rooty bitterness from gentian. Subtle hints of smoke, vanilla, and dried fruits like raisins and figs can also be found.
