	Who Paranubes Oaxacan Rum is produced by Maestro Destilador Jose Luis Carrera at his family's farm and distillery (trapiche). The brand was co-founded as a partnership between Carrera, a third-generation producer, and Judah Kuper, who is also a co-founder of Mezcal Vago.
	Where Produced in the remote Sierra Mazateca mountains of northern Oaxaca, Mexico. The specific production site is located in the community of Río Tuerto within the Huautepec region.
	What Paranubes Oaxacan Rum is one of the most distinctive spirits on the market, often described as "savory," "briny," and "funky." It tastes more like a farm or a kitchen than a typical sweet rum. The aroma is intense and unconventional. You’ll pick up black olive brine, vine-ripened tomatoes, and pickled peppers. There is a strong "green" scent of fresh-cut grass and damp earth. It is bold and oily. The initial taste is a mix of sweet sugarcane and salty umami. The finish is long, dry, and clean, leaving a lingering taste of mineral salt and anise.
