	What Because it was created by a master sommelier (André Hueston Mack), Rye & Sons 2022 tastes more bright and botanical than your typical heavy, oaky rye. It’s designed to be elegant and food-friendly, focusing on citrus and spice rather than just raw wood. It is very aromatic and fresh. You’ll get an immediate hit of orange zest and eucalyptus (which is a classic high-rye trait). There’s a sweet, floral layer that smells like honeyed chamomile and clove. It has a silky texture, similar to wine on the tongue. The flavors are a complex mix of salted caramel, roasted nectarines, and anise (black licorice). Because it’s 96% rye, it has a beautiful green spice that tastes like cinnamon and mint. It ends with a warming, spicy snap. It leaves a lingering taste of white pepper and freshly cut grass, with a tiny hint of cocoa at the very end.
