	What Spirited Union Spice & Sea Salt Rum is defined by a "botanical" profile that favors natural spice infusions over the syrupy sweetness found in mainstream spiced rums. It has a relatively low sugar content (20g/L) and a higher-than-average proof of 41% ABV, which gives it a cleaner, more aromatic character. The nose features mellow notes of warming spices and fruity molasses, with prominent scents of Madagascan vanilla and cloves. It is smooth and nuanced, led by a blend of cacao, cardamom, and vanilla. Unlike many spiced rums, it has an earthy, almost savory quality from the spice maceration. The signature feature is a distinct mineral sea salt finish. The salt (Añana sea salt from Spain) serves to reduce perceived bitterness and make the citrus and chocolate notes "bloom" on the tongue.
