	What St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram is essentially Christmas in a bottle. It is a potent, bittersweet liqueur that captures the intense, warming essence of the dried pimento berry (allspice). This stuff is powerful. In the cocktail world, it’s often treated more like a "seasoning" than a base spirit. Most recipes only call for 1/4 to 1/2 ounce, as anything more can easily overpower the other ingredients.
	Why St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram is most notable for single-handedly reviving a "lost" category of spirits. Before its introduction in 2008, Allspice Dram (historically called Pimento Dram) had almost entirely disappeared from the U.S. market, leaving classic Tiki and vintage cocktail recipes unmakeable.
