What St. George NOLA Coffee Liqueur is a deep, savory, and sophisticated spirit that tastes like a dark-roasted New Orleans iced coffee. Unlike many mass-market coffee liqueurs (like Kahlúa), it is significantly less syrupy and focuses on the "earthy" and "nutty" notes of the bean and chicory. The dominant flavor is intense, dark-roasted coffee. Because they use Ethiopian Yirgacheffe beans, there is a bright, fruity acidity that balances the heavy roast. It is sweetened with organic cane sugar and a hint of Madagascar vanilla, which rounds out the bitterness and leaves a smooth, cocoa-like finish. It’s not "cloying"—it tastes like coffee with a splash of simple syrup rather than a coffee-flavored candy. |

Why While many people use it for Espresso Martinis, the Revolver is the "connoisseur’s choice" because the earthy chicory in the NOLA blend perfectly bridges the gap between spicy bourbon and bright orange. |
