	Who Velho Barreiro Cachaça is produced by Indústrias Reunidas de Bebidas Tatuzinho 3 Fazendas Ltda., with roots dating back to the late 19th or early 20th century. While the "Tatuzinho" brand was founded in 1950 in Piracicaba, the Velho Barreiro label itself was launched by the company in 1975.

	What Velho Barreiro Cachaça is a traditional Brazilian spirit known for its herbaceous, sweet, and slightly spicy profile. Unlike molasses-based rums, it is distilled from fresh sugarcane juice, giving it a distinctively "green" and vegetal character.
	Why Unlike many spirits aged in oak, Velho Barreiro is rested in large vats made from Jequitibá Rosa, a native Brazilian hardwood. This specific wood is known as the "Brazilian oak" because it imparts a delicate, velvety texture and subtle notes of vanilla, flowers, and fruit without overpowering the fresh sugarcane taste. It helps lower the acidity of the spirit, making it smoother and easier to drink neat. Also, Caipirinhas!!!
