What Xicaru Silver is noted for its exceptional clarity and balanced profile, emphasizing both smoke and vegetal sweetness. The aroma features distinct mesquite smoke, reminiscent of a campfire, layered with bright citrus and cooked agave. Additional notes of wet stone and earthiness may be detected. The flavor is crisp and medium-bodied, presenting roasted agave sweetness similar to honey or caramel, complemented by black pepper, lemon zest, and a subtle vegetal character akin to green bell pepper. The finish is dry, with warm spice and a lingering, smooth smokiness. |

Why Unlike some mezcals that may be perceived as harsh, Xicaru undergoes double distillation to achieve a velvety, soft mouthfeel, making it a preferred option for individuals who typically find spirits too intense. |
